With generous
funding and great faith from the W.K.Kellogg Foundation, the Knowledge
Center was developed and made available to members of the Women’s
Funding Network (WFN) in April 2005.
The Knowledge Center was developed in a truly collaborative effort. Many thanks to the creators of the Knowledge Center, most especially: Criterion Consulting (Joy Anderson, Kay Edwards), Knowledge Innovation (Mino Akhtar), HSConsultants, Inc., (Howard Share), and WFN staff (Chris Grumm, President/CEO; Cynthia Schmae, VP of Member Programs; Lisa Yu, Director of Finance and Project Manager; Emily Katz Kishawi and Anita Daley, co-Directors of Communications; Debi Harris, VP of Development; Mary Alex, Director of Individual Donors; Amy Zucchero, Membership Manager;and Debbie Zamd, Finance Associate). And special thanks for insightful feedback from our evaluators at Social Policy Rearch Associates (Jessica Pearlman, Hanh Cao Yu, Sukey Soukamneuth). WFN expresses sincere appreciation to all who contributed expertise, time and funding to the more than two years of research, development, beta testing and design that led to the launch of the Knowledge Center. The Knowledge Center revolutionizes the way WFN shares and collects knowledge from members, and the way members communicate with, and learn from, each other. This cutting-edge tool offers a powerful capacity-building platform for users, by enabling them to find what they need, when they need it, from any location with Internet access. We look forward to watching the knowledge grow! Christine Grumm,
